R. J. Ferguson, MA, LPC-S, Director of Counseling
RJ is a follower of Jesus, a devoted husband to Chelsea, and a proud father to four wonderful children. As a licensed therapist, he is deeply invested in the work of spiritual formation and personal growth. RJ has a unique gift for inviting others to pause, reflect, and engage more deeply with the story they are living. With warmth, empathy, and encouragement, he helps those who feel fragmented and disconnected to cultivate a greater sense of wholeness and meaningful connection in their lives.
Specializing in trauma, attachment, and relational dynamics, RJ works with ministry and corporate leaders, couples, and individuals, guiding them toward healing and restoration. His therapeutic approach has been profoundly shaped by the work of Chuck DeGroat, Curt Thompson, Larry Crabb, Sonya Reeder, Daniel Siegel, and Pat Ogden. He holds a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from LeTourneau University.
RJ’s professional expertise extends to contemporary, evidence-based modalities such as Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and Interpersonal Neurobiology (IPNB). His diverse clinical experience includes working in private practice, intensive outpatient programs, residential treatment for adolescents, and managing inpatient psychiatric units for children and adults.
RJ is passionate about creating a safe and transformative space for clients to explore their stories and move toward lives marked by authenticity, connection, and hope.
