R. J. Ferguson LPC, Director of Counseling
RJ is a follower of Jesus, a husband to Chelsea, and a father to four beautiful children. He is a licensed therapist and is deeply connected to the work of Spiritual Formation. RJ is gifted with inviting others to pay attention and engage the story they are living. With warmth and encouragement, RJ helps those who feel fragmented and disconnected cultivate a more meaningful reality of wholeness and connection we all long to live.
RJ also specializes in areas of trauma and attachment and works with ministry leaders, couples and individuals. His approach to counseling has been primarily shaped by Chuck DeGroat, Curt Thompson, Larry Crabb, Sonya Reeder, Daniel Siegel, and Pat Ogden. He completed his M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Letourneau University.
RJ’s training and experience extends to well-regarded contemporary approaches including Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and Interpersonal Neurobiology (IPNB). RJ has worked in private practice, intensive outpatient clinics, residential treatment for adolescents and has managed inpatient psychiatric units for children and adults.
