Holly Tallon, LPC Associate

Holly is an LPC-Associate under the supervision of Dr. Treva Barham, LPC-S, and has an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from LeTourneau University. She is committed to welcoming clients into a warm, encouraging, peaceful space as they navigate challenges and seek to make changes in their lives.

As a counselor, she loves offering her clients education, tools, skills, and resources that they can take with them between sessions. With a cognitive-behavioral framework, Holly uses a strengths-based and person-centered approach to encourage her clients to move toward their goals. Holly provides therapy for people wrestling with anxiety, depression, transitions, grief, trauma, anger, addiction, and questions of purpose and identity. She primarily sees adults, but she is also able to provide services for children and teens.

Holly is guided in her counseling ministry by the words of Jesus, who said that we will all have trouble in this world, but that we can take heart and be of good cheer because he has overcome the world (John 16:33). Counseling can be a significant part of acknolwedging and processing pain and difficulty, while also learning to take heart, have hope, and move toward greater peace.

Having lived all over the world before settling in Longview 12 years ago, Holly is thankful to be rooted in East Texas with her family. She is married to Luke, and they have 3 teenagers. In addition to working as a counselor, Holly homeschools her children, enjoys traveling, and loves baking cookies.
