catharine griffin, Counselor

LPC

Catharine Griffin grew up in a rural area just outside of Atlanta, Georgia.  She attended North Georgia University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. Her love for counseling grew in the classroom environment where she realized that families and children were in need of resources, tools and support to navigate life’s challenges and needs outside of the classroom.  In 2012, she earned a Masters of Arts degree in Biblical Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary.

She has counseling experience in the elementary school setting, a crisis pregnancy resource center, and finally at Hope Road counseling.

She enjoys working with children, adolescents, individuals, families and couples with experience navigating anxiety, depression, grief, suicide prevention, divorce, infidelity, sexual betrayal, third culture kids, and a host of challenges that people face personally and in relationships.

Catharine also enjoys playing with her children, backyard farming, writing, teaching and studying the Bible, mentoring college students, and coordinating ministry and growth opportunities for women in her church.  When she is not in the office, she enjoys being outside with her husband and three boys.
